Abstract:

This article explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in the arbitration of labor and employment disputes in China, assessing its potential to transform dispute resolution processes. It examines how AI technologies are being applied to streamline arbitration procedures, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs while also addressing concerns regarding fairness, transparency, and accountability. The paper considers the legal and institutional framework surrounding AI-driven arbitration in China and evaluates its implications for labor rights and justice. By analyzing case studies and recent developments, the article sheds light on both the promise and the limitations of AI in the context of labor arbitration.
